I actually think it edges out Byword on ios at the moment. Similar to Byword and also supports iCloud and Dropbox.

I like Byword too, but have recently tried 1Writer which works on iPhone and iPad and has recently received a very good update. It still has an ios 6 keyboard style, yet they managed to release iAWriter Pro which in terms of pure simplicity, doesn't match iaWriter. I used to love iAWriter, but got annoyed with the fact that they still haven't updated iAWriter for ios 7. Womp womp.Good article! We don’t have a definitive date on when the app might be out, so till then, you’ll have to rely on the Rosetta-based version. We have an internal build for native Apple M1 support, which we’re currently testing and we’re committed to releasing in the first half of 2022. While we regularly ask for customer feedback and input on new products or features, this should not have been one of those instances.
